Android 12 has started rolling out for Pixel phones . Google made the announcement at a Pixel Fall launch event on Tuesday.
The new Android version waas first released in February as a developer preview, and was detailed at Google's I / O Developer Conference in May.
Google earlier this month released the Android 12 source code for the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Android 12 will bring with it a new design language called Material U.

The purpose of which is to increase personalization on Android devices. It also has privacy controls that allow users to share their approximate location with third party apps.

Android 12 promotes personalization. Users can choose custom color palette and new widgets on their Pixel smartphone. The latest Android experience includes liquid speed and more animations.
It also includes improvements to reduce CPU time for core system services by 22 percent and to reduce the use of large cores by system servers to 15 percent.
Google has added new privacy-focused changes to Android 12 for top-notch privacy control. There is a new privacy dashboard detailing the permissions settings and which apps are accessing which data.
