How to Transfer CIF Account in SBI:
• First of all login net banking. On the home page of your account, click on 'e-Service' button. In the 'e-Services' section on the left hand side you will see the option of "Savings Account Transfer".
• On clicking this option, you will see the accounts available in SBI on the screen. Select the account you wish to transfer to another branch. And then enter the branch code of other SBI branch.
• After that click on 'Get Branch Name' tab followed by branch name, code of that branch will appear in the box below. Select this code from there. If you already know the branch code then you can fill it. After that submit by ticking the accept.
• On clicking the submit button, you will see the name and code of the new branch. In which you want to transfer your account. Check the details given here and click on the confirm button.
• After this, an OTP will come on your registered mobile number, which you will have to enter. When you click on "Confirm" a new page will open.
• It will have the transfer confirmation message, details of your existing branch and the branch to which you have transferred your account.
• After this, the process of online bank account transfer in SBI is completed on your behalf. Within a week it will reach the new branch.
